Spurs Ladies welcome Player Sponsors to Hotspur Way

Spurs Ladies hosted their first ever Sponsor’s Evening at Hotspur Way on Monday evening, exclusively for our player sponsors.

The event facilitated networking between sponsors, helping them to build up client bases and to meet fellow Spurs fans. The first team squad and management were eager to welcome the guests, and to thank them for their support this season.

Sponsors were presented with signed shirts and had an official photo taken with their sponsored player. One commented: “It was so well organised and we all felt part of something special.”

Next, the sponsors took in first team training from the viewing gallery, giving them a behind-the-scenes insight into the hard work that takes place at Hotspur Way.

Speaking of their 2017/2018 player sponsorship, Spurs podcast Echoes of Glory said: “Being the official sponsor of Spurs Ladies midfielder Josie Green has been a privilege in the 2017/2018 season. It has helped the Echoes of Glory podcast out massively, increasing our weekly subscribers and popularity all over the world. The podcast with Josie Green, Sarah Wiltshire and Wendy Martin was loved by our listeners, and we had some fantastic feedback. This event at Hotspur Way was fantastic, a chance to meet all of the players and staff. It has been brilliant to be part of the Spurs Ladies season, and we hope to be an even bigger part of it next season and beyond.”

Last season’s promotion to FA Women's Super League 2 has been a catalyst for growth for the Club, with our following on Instagram rocketing from 7,000 at the beginning of the season to over 21,000, a figure which is consistent with Men’s Clubs in the EFL Championship.
